We are Sweden's Leading Industry Organization for Life Science and Represent Over 320 Member Companies Active in Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics, Medical Technology, and Service and Collaboration Organizations. About the Role
In this role, your focus will be on developing and growing the member base. You will be the organization's contact point for companies, with a particular focus on companies operating in medical technology – from start-ups to established players – working to understand their needs, create engagement, and translate insights into concrete initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues within the organization and existing members, contributing to increasing the visibility of our members in our activities and networks. The role is broad, varied, and combines operational work with a strategic perspective.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Be the first point of contact for existing and potential members.
• Identify and establish relationships with new member companies – and be responsible for further developing our Life Science community.
• Onboard new members and follow up on member engagement and satisfaction.
• Drive activities and meeting places that increase member benefits and collaboration, such as seminars, networking events, and project initiatives.
• Collect, analyze, and act on member feedback – contribute to the development of our member offering.
• Keep member data updated in Salesforce and ensure effective administrative processes.
The position is a permanent employment based in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
Your Profile
You have a background in MedTech or a related area and a good understanding of industry dynamics. Perhaps you have worked in a company developing products, services, or solutions in medical technology or a company collaborating with the sector.
You are proactive, results-oriented, and thrive in the intersection of people and business. You easily build trust, enjoy driving things forward, and see opportunities where others see obstacles. Structure, curiosity, and the ability to switch between details and the big picture are important strengths.
In short – you combine business acumen with a commitment to innovation and social benefit.
Qualifications:
• BSc or MSc in Biology/Biotechnology/Biomedicine, Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, or similar, or a college education in business with a couple of years of work experience in the MedTech industry.
• Experience in sales or entrepreneurship is meritorious, but we primarily want to see a proven "go-get-it" attitude.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is meritorious.
• You write and speak fluently in Swedish and English.
• Ability to work evenings and travel an average of 3-6 days per month.
