About the Position
As a CNC operator, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and operating CNC machines according to specific drawings and work orders. You will ensure high quality by performing accurate measurements and inspections of manufactured parts. Your tasks will also include maintaining machines, reporting discrepancies, and collaborating with production planners to optimize workflow. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to continuous improvements in production processes and maintain a safe and efficient work environment for our client.
About You
Formal Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed a technical high school education with a focus on CNC technology or equivalent. Alternatively, you should have at least two years of experience working as a CNC operator and possess good skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Experience with measuring instruments and an understanding of quality control are also necessary. You should be able to communicate well in both Swedish and English and have the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Experience with milling and turning is preferred.
Meritorious
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in programming CAD/CAM systems, particularly with specific software such as Siemens or Fanuc. Knowledge of Lean production and experience working with various materials, such as metal and plastic, is also beneficial. A background in process technology or relevant certification in the CNC operator field can give you an extra edge. Experience in implementing improvement processes will also be viewed positively.
