**About the Role**
We are seeking an engineer who wants to work with some of the most advanced control systems in the aviation industry. The role involves developing and optimizing control laws for our aircraft – determining how the aircraft should behave in various situations. You will work on design, calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure that the systems meet high performance and safety standards.
**The work includes:**
- Developing requirements and design solutions.
- Calculating and analyzing the behavior of the control system.
- Simulations and evaluations in both desktop environments and simulators.
- Investigations based on error reports.
- Interfaces with pilots and other technical areas to verify functionality.
This is a complex and aviation-specific role that requires deep expertise in control and automation technology, analytical skills, and system understanding. You will work in a highly skilled team where you will have your own areas of responsibility as well as close collaboration with colleagues.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on control and automation technology.
- Deep knowledge in control and automation technology.
- Several years of experience working with control and automation technology.
- Experience with simulation and design tools, such as Simulink.
- Ability to write and understand technical reports.
- Proficient in Swedish and English.
**Meritorious:**
- Strongly meritorious if you have a pilot's license.
- Experience from the aviation industry.
- Experience in software development or software testing.
- Master’s or PhD in control and automation technology.
- Knowledge in system safety.
