Role as Store Manager at City Gross
As Store Manager, you will run your store with full responsibility for results, operations, and management. Your role requires strategically and operationally leading by organizing, planning, and developing work and employees in the store, while ensuring operations align with City Gross's overall goals and chain management. You will take responsibility for the customer experience and find pride in exceeding customer expectations.
Your most important tool for creating results is your management team. Together, you will lead the work and ensure that skills and collective resources are used in the most optimal and efficient way. We also expect you as Store Manager to be involved and present in operational management, as we see this as an opportunity for coaching and continuous development. You will report to the Regional Manager.
What will you do?
• Responsible for the store's daily operations with the management team, focusing on product supply, fill rates, price information, inspiration, satisfied customers, and a safe store.
• Follow up and analyze store key performance indicators and results, and proactively propose, prioritize, and implement improvements with the management team.
• Work with budgeting and business planning by participating in overall budget establishment, ensuring continuous improvements, and following up on results.
• Overall responsibility for the store's personnel matters, staffing, and scheduling.
• Conduct and follow up on systematic work environment efforts, ensuring good working conditions and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Actively work on personnel and organizational development, coaching and leading the store's management team.

You are an experienced leader with a great interest in people, sales, and customer service. As a person, you are business-oriented, driven, and focus on what creates customer results. You have a desire to develop the business and employees towards jointly set goals and are comfortable communicating effectively and clearly. You are a leader who contributes to creating a positive work climate and a customer experience that exceeds expectations.
We believe you:
• Have relevant education equivalent to at least high school level. We prefer additional education in areas such as economics or other relevant fields.
• Have several years of experience in a leadership position as a Store Manager in retail/grocery.
• Have experience with personnel management and are comfortable leading and developing management teams and staff.
• Have experience with budget and result responsibility, store economics, and sales management.
