The Folkuniversitetet Study Association conducts popular education and adult education throughout Sweden. Our mission is to provide people with the means for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes lives. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
• Pedagogical understanding or teaching experience.
• Subject matter expertise/work experience in the field.
• Experience and an active interest in adult education.
• Basic IT skills.
In our courses, each participant works individually on their project under the guidance of the instructor. Topics covered include, among others, upholstery techniques such as plan stuffing, cobblestone stuffing, edge stuffing, and band gluing, depending on the chosen project. Participants will also learn about various tools and upholstery materials.
Folkuniversitetet in Södertälje offers open courses in areas including crafts. We would like to connect with individuals who can facilitate study circle sessions for adults on several occasions, including weekends, starting in the spring of 2026.
Our goal is to expand our offerings in furniture upholstery.
