Welcome to a workplace with great variety! **JOB DESCRIPTION** Municipal Properties is seeking an experienced manager to lead and develop the Planning and Investigation unit, which is responsible for the municipality's local resource planning, development, and management of our property system (Faciliate). The group also has responsibilities in energy monitoring, system support for planned maintenance of our properties, compliance with regulatory requirements, and drawing management. If you accept the challenge, you will manage a team of 6 employees, including a local strategist, information manager, system administrator, local coordinator/business developer, drawing technician, and administrative manager. Your role in the management team of Municipal Properties is crucial, as you will support the property manager in strategic matters. In this role and in project groups formed for larger investments or property transitions, Municipal Properties is responsible for feasibility studies and investigations and actively participates in planning construction, leasing, termination, and divestment of municipal premises and buildings. As the manager of the Planning and Investigation unit, you will primarily work on the development and management of our property system and local resource planning to ensure that our municipal operations have suitable premises. You will be responsible for liaising with internal and external tenants to meet their space needs. You will also manage the unit's budget and forecasts as well as analyze outcomes. To achieve the goals as a leader in the group, it is important to create conditions for employees to be co-creators and develop within their respective roles. It is also essential to strive to find new developmental methods to advance Municipal Properties in its digital journey. **QUALIFICATIONS** We are looking for candidates who have: - A higher education degree in property management, local resource planning, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer - At least 3 years of experience as a manager with personnel responsibility - Experience working in a politically governed organization - Experience in property-related operations - Experience in budget and forecasting work - Basic computer skills, including Windows and the Office suite - Good ability to express oneself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - A valid driver's license (B) It is advantageous if you have: - Experience with the property management system Faciliate - Experience working in a politically governed organization - Experience in dealing with customers, property owners, various municipal operations, and politicians.
