The Transportation Department (TA) is Tasked with Transporting and Monitoring Persons Deprived of Liberty. These are the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's Clients Being Moved Between Detention Centers and Prisons, to Court Hearings and Hospitals, and More. TA Also Transports Persons Deprived of Liberty for Agencies Such as the Police, National Institutions Board, Migration Agency, and Psychiatry. The Transportation Department is Now Seeking a Secure, Present, and Development-Oriented Manager for the Eastern Section, Located in Kalmar. In This Role, You'll Have the Opportunity to Combine Operational Leadership with Strategic Responsibility in a Department That is Constantly in Motion, Both Figuratively and Literally. As a Manager, You'll Be Responsible for the Kalmar Transportation Office with Approximately 24 Employees and the Västervik Office with Approximately 9 Employees. In the Eastern Section, You'll Work with 5 Management Colleagues, Each Responsible for Different Transportation Offices (Växjö, Jönköping, Norrköping, and Nyköping), Together Forming the Section's Management Team. As a Manager in the Eastern Transportation Section, You'll Have Overall Responsibility for the Operations, Focusing on Leadership, Development, and Collaboration. Your Role Involves: • Leading and Following Up Operations with Responsibility for Personnel, Work Environment, Budget, and Quality. • Being a Present Support and Role Model for Employees in Both Kalmar and Västervik. • Working Closely with Employees to Create Structure and Clear Direction in Daily Operations. • Driving Development in Collaboration, Work Culture, Planning, and Communication. • Being an Active Part of the Section's Management Team and Collaborating with Support Functions within TA.
