Property Damage Claims Manager - Private Sector

Länsförsäkringar Skaraborg We are now seeking a Group Manager for Property Private in our claims department. We are looking for someone who wants to drive and lead change and development work, with a focus on job satisfaction and performance. About the Job You will manage and develop a team handling both construction damage and other property damage within the private segment. Periodically, you may also need to support other areas such as agriculture and business, depending on workflow and needs. The role involves personnel planning, efficiency optimization, and ensuring high-quality delivery to our customers. You will work towards uniform and legally secure claims handling and a culture of mutual support and holistic thinking. Creating a good work environment and job satisfaction is central, as is driving process development and change management to meet future claims delivery requirements. You will be part of the claims business area management team and report to the Claims Business Area Manager. In the management team, you will actively contribute to the entire department's development and collaboration. Who Are You? We are seeking someone who currently works in a leadership role, or has previous leadership experience, preferably in insurance, construction, or related fields. You are curious and brave about developing working methods, processes, and employees. You have strong implementation power and are comfortable making decisions based on the group's and organization's needs. You are a good listener who can create an inclusive culture and be a role model who recognizes and celebrates successes. You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are comfortable handling challenging conversations. You plan and structure your work independently and have the ability to combine result-orientation with high customer focus. Experience in process development, change management, and employee coaching is meritorious, as is knowledge of property, construction, or related claims handling.
