Do you want to contribute to Sweden's work at the NATO representation in Brussels? We are looking for someone with driver training and experience in providing administrative support.

As a dispatched administrative employee (driver/caretaker), your main task will be to plan, coordinate, and manage the representation's vehicle pool, including handling maintenance, bookings, and more. The position entails being the ambassador's driver and also involves responsibility for the logistical flow before and during high-level visits, in close collaboration with those responsible for each principal (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, or Armed Forces). As a caretaker, you will be responsible for internal administration within restricted-access areas. Other administrative tasks may also arise. Work outside regular hours may occur.

Your background
We are looking for someone with relevant driver training. A Class B (manual) and C driver's license is a basic requirement. Protective driver training is an advantage. You have excellent IT skills and experience in providing administrative support. You also possess a strong sense of service, organizational skills, and attention to detail, and can work both independently and in a team. You communicate well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. Relevant work experience from the Government Offices or other Swedish authorities is advantageous, as are basic knowledge of French.

As a driver/caretaker, you must have integrity, be stable, independent, cooperative, and resilient. You need to be able to work independently and take initiative to drive the work forward. Good judgment is a central quality, as well as adaptability and flexibility. You find it easy to establish contacts and collaborate with other stakeholders. You adhere to the ethical guidelines of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and represent Sweden well.
Other information
Start date as soon as possible, or as agreed. Fixed-term employment for two years, with a possible extension.
The position is classified in a security category, and a security clearance with a background check will be conducted before a hiring decision is made. You must be a Swedish citizen and registered in Sweden. Certain training needs to be completed in Sweden before starting.
