The work takes place in elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care. We are currently seeking a nursing assistant for daytime work in Central Home Care. With us, you will have the opportunity to provide personal care to clients in their own homes based on their needs, assistance decisions, and individual implementation plans. As part of our team, you will have a meaningful role where you contribute to safety, independence, and quality of life for our clients. You will also serve as a primary care contact, which means you are an important link for continuity and security in the client’s daily life. Your tasks will include providing support with: • Personal care and hygiene. • Social interaction and conversation. • Medication management. • Cleaning, laundry, and other household chores. • Accompanying clients to activities outside the home - and much more. All our positions are based on 100% employment, but you have the option to apply for a leave of absence down to 75% if that suits you better. Your schedule will include resource shifts, meaning you will work in other units within the municipality. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant, with experience in the healthcare profession considered an asset. You need to provide proof of a protected professional title or approved grades/diplomas from a healthcare and social care education. You have a positive attitude towards development, are flexible, and view new changes as exciting challenges. As a person, you should have a genuine interest in helping our clients in need of support in their daily lives. One of your strengths is the ability to recognize their individual needs, and you should be driven by a desire to create the best conditions for a meaningful and secure everyday life. It is important to us that you are engaged and enjoy your job. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to take responsibility for what is required while contributing to a positive atmosphere in the staff group. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, with a requirement for passing SFI course D, and you should be accustomed to cycling.
