Carl Larsson Farm in Sundborn is one of Dalarna's leading visitor destinations. The farm is owned and operated by the Carl and Karin Larsson Family Association, with the goal of spreading knowledge and bringing to life the couple's artistic legacy. At the center stands the Carl Larsson Farm, their shared creation. Additionally, exhibition activities are conducted in the Art Hall Kvarnen, located in Sundborn village.
We are now seeking an engaged Guide Manager with experience in team leadership. You will have the opportunity to work with one of Sweden's most unique cultural heritages in a fantastic environment. Together with the Carl Larsson Farm manager, you will develop visitors' experience of the artists' home. Work tasks vary throughout the season, and we welcome someone who enjoys working on both large and small tasks alongside the farm's other staff.
Primary Responsibilities
• Organize, plan, and lead the farm's tour operations
• Recruit and be responsible for training seasonal guides for the summer peak season
• Personally guide visitors at the farm, especially during the low season
• Be actively involved in the farm's shop sales
Qualifications and Characteristics
• Experience in team leadership
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Outgoing personality with the ability to be a role model for guides
• Willingness to learn about and delve into the Larsson family's artistry
Great importance will be placed on personal qualities.
Employment
Position is a permanent full-time role. A six-month probationary period may be applied.
