About Us
Capio Alva Psychology works with mental health for children and adolescents and is characterized by commitment, a positive approach, and quality. Our clinics offer good structure, community, and close collaboration among various professionals such as psychologists, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, and pediatric nurses. We value your professional development, provide ongoing internal and external supervision, and offer excellent opportunities for training. Together with the psychology team at our sister clinic in Hagastaden, we also hold regular workshops and develop our services and competencies together.
We can now offer a permanent position at our clinic located centrally at Medborgarplatsen in Stockholm.
Your Role
We are looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to work with children and adolescents aged 6-17, focusing on treatment and neuropsychiatric assessments. With us, you will meet children with mild to moderate mental health issues for assessment and treatment, as well as work with parent-support initiatives. We operate according to a “stepped care” model where our psychologists work in stages, from counseling to lectures, group, and individual therapy. Children referred for neuropsychiatric assessment will meet with a psychologist and a pediatrician/child psychiatrist who work as a team. As a psychologist, you will work in a structured and focused manner with only a few assessments ongoing simultaneously. After the assessment is completed, the child will be followed up as needed for treatment by a psychologist and/or physician through Capio Alva Balans, which creates a valued continuity for the child and family.
We Offer You
• Collective agreement
• An accessible manager who is also a psychologist
• Professional development, both internal and external
• Wellness allowance
• Breakfast once a week
• An inclusive workplace where we have fun and learn from each other
