C-Driver (Rear Loader)

For our facility in Halmstad, where we temporarily store and sort waste, we are now seeking a skilled environmental worker who will primarily operate rear-loading vehicles, but will also assist at the facility. In our operations in Halmstad, we receive, sort, process, collect, and recycle waste from all types of businesses. We sort and inspect the waste and prepare it for further transport to recycling. **Job Responsibilities** In this role, you will drive rear-loading vehicles (waste collection trucks) to empty bins and other types of containers at our various customers throughout Halland County. Our environmental workers drive according to a planned route and should have good spatial awareness to navigate around Halland County. Since the work can be physically demanding at times, you should enjoy being active, and we expect the work to be performed with high quality and service. You will face customer challenges on-site, which may involve various requests and unexpected situations that require quick problem-solving and adaptability. Being prepared for the unexpected is part of the job and provides an opportunity for continuous development and mastering new situations. It is a versatile role that requires both skill behind the wheel and physical strength and endurance to handle the demands and challenges that come with fieldwork. To succeed in this role, and due to the high level of customer interaction, it is important that you are service-oriented, responsible, self-motivated, and have good collaborative skills. You should have good computer skills. You are physically fit and meet the medical requirements to be approved as a professional driver. Experience in the industry and local knowledge of Halland County is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Forklift certification and other types of machine qualifications are advantageous, such as wheel loader and material handler. ADR certification is also a plus.
