Do you want to work towards making Stockholm the world’s most sustainable city? Academic Work is currently recruiting a Construction Coordinator on behalf of Stockholm Water and Waste. You will be part of the VA Delivery Production team, playing a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of Stockholm's water and sewage systems. Here, you contribute directly to the city's infrastructure by supporting their foremen in various projects. We look forward to your application! ABOUT THE POSITION You will be part of an operational management group that supports the foremen within VA Delivery Production. They are responsible for addressing leaks in the water and sewage pipeline network in Stockholm and Huddinge, from emergency interventions to larger planned works. As a Construction Coordinator, you will play a central role in relieving their foremen by handling administrative tasks and ensuring quality and follow-up in their water and sewage-related works. The role involves significant collaboration with both internal and external parties. This is a full-time position where you will temporarily replace an employee on parental leave, from December 1 to June 30, with some possibility for extension. You will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment for Stockholm Water and Waste. TASKS The role involves supporting foremen with planning, follow-up, and documentation of water-related ground works, from initial orders to completion and reporting. * Conducting quality control of water-related ground works. * Engaging in dialogue with contracted entrepreneurs regarding execution and review. * Documenting completed ground restoration work, including asphalt. * Assisting foremen with drawing traffic plans as needed. * Following up on deviations and actions with entrepreneurs. * Reporting documented work in internal systems and to the municipality. * Conduct field visits approximately 1-2 times a week to review completed work and gain a good understanding of the operations. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Have experience in water, construction, or civil engineering, with experience from both office and field. - Have knowledge of asphalt and ground restoration. - Communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written, as daily documentation and communication occur in Swedish. - Possess a valid driver's license (pool car available). - Have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to quickly learn new software systems. It is advantageous if you have - Experience in drawing or reviewing traffic plans. - Relevant work experience within the industry for at least two years.
