AB Hedemorabostäder (HEBO) is the municipal housing company that owns and manages properties for renting suitable housing and premises in Hedemora Municipality, including associated services and environment. Construction Project Manager at Hedemora Municipal Properties Would you like to help develop Hedemora's future? At Hedemora Municipal Properties, you'll have the opportunity to lead projects that truly make a difference – for people, environment, and society. We are in an expansive phase and are now seeking an experienced and committed Construction Project Manager who wants to contribute expertise, drive, and engagement in our construction and property projects. About the Position As a Construction Project Manager, you will undertake assignments for both HEBO and HEKO. You will have comprehensive responsibility for planning, leading, and following up construction and property projects with a focus on sustainability, societal benefit, and cost-effectiveness. You'll be involved from initial idea to completed building – from early stages and budgeting to implementation, follow-up, and final inspection. The role involves significant personal responsibility, as well as close collaboration with colleagues, contractors, consultants, and authorities. You will work both strategically and operationally, where your decisions impact both the city's development and the daily life of those living and working in Hedemora. Your primary tasks will include: - Initiating, planning, and driving construction projects for schools, preschools, care facilities, offices, and housing - Establishing budgets, timelines, and financial follow-ups - Leading procurement according to LOU (Public Procurement Act) - Coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal resources - Ensuring projects meet quality, environmental, workplace, and accessibility requirements - Engaging in dialogue with politicians, administrations, users, and citizens - Documenting project progress and ensuring proper archiving according to the principle of public access - Contributing to the development of sustainable and efficient construction processes We Offer At Hedemora Municipal Properties, you'll receive a responsible and varied role in an organization characterized by forward-thinking, lack of prestige, and cooperation. Qualifications Personal Qualities: We seek someone who is solution-oriented, collaborative, and self-driven, and who enjoys having multiple contact points. You are structured and communicative, with an ability to build trust and cooperation – both internally and externally. You can see the overall project picture while being able to focus on details when necessary. For you, working result-oriented comes naturally, while also recognizing the people behind the projects. Experience and Knowledge: Candidates should have previous project management experience in construction or property. Certification in project management is meriting. You should have a broad technical background and strong interest in construction processes. Experience with project support systems or basic drawing tools is advantageous. Excellent Swedish communication skills (verbal and written) and a driver's license are required. Education: Bachelor's degree in construction engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent, or alternative education/experience deemed comparable.
