About this role

HSB plans, finances, builds, and manages housing throughout Sweden. Today, over one million people – singles, couples, and families – live in HSB's 26,708 rental apartments and 346,381 condominium units. HSB also offers Sweden's largest housing savings program, which provides priority for home ownership. In Gävleborg, Västernorrland, and Jämtland, we serve 430 condominium associations and other property owners with a comprehensive range of management services. HSB also has approximately 2,000 rental apartments in the area. We are supported by nearly 250 skilled employees who now need reinforcement in Sundsvall. **Responsibilities and Tasks** As a construction project manager with us, you will independently manage assignments related to renovation, reconstruction, energy, and extension projects from start to finish. You will also work on maintenance plans for our clients. In a service-oriented and advisory manner, you will assist the client in finding the best solution for their needs. With your strong commitment to the task, you are expected to provide advice and create the conditions for continued collaboration with the client. You will work closely with your colleagues within the department, our property managers and economists, and especially with our clients. The work is based in one of our offices in Sundsvall. You will primarily work in Västernorrland, but work and travel throughout Southern Norrland may occur. You will be part of the Construction and Project Department, which consists of eight employees in Southern Norrland. **Experience** To thrive and excel in this role, we expect you to have at least 3 years of experience in managing project management assignments related to property renovations. Additionally, you need to have a good understanding of the construction process from idea to final warranty inspection. You possess solid knowledge of contract law, specifically ABT 06, AB 04, and ABK 09. Being a certified control manager or having a passion for energy efficiency is a plus. You have a genuine interest in property development, are service-oriented, and are accustomed to managing multiple projects simultaneously with a very good understanding of the entire process from feasibility study to handover. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. You should have good knowledge of Office programs. A valid driver's license and access to your own car are required. **Personal Qualities** As a person, you are confident and stable in both your project management skills and in yourself. We also see that you need to have a business-oriented and customer-focused approach; in other words, you are driven by creating good relationships that benefit the business. You possess good leadership qualities and are a natural team player. Structure, determination, and patience are three other important qualities required to successfully take on this role. Furthermore, we expect you to share our values and that your actions towards clients, colleagues, and members are based on them. **What HSB Offers** HSB constantly strives to improve, both as an organization and as a workplace, and we achieve this when employees develop. At HSB, you influence your own development. With the right ambition and strong drive, a position within HSB is a good investment in your career. The organization is characterized by core values of Commitment, Security, Sustainability, Consideration, and Collaboration, and decision-making paths are short, which means you have good opportunities to make an impact. You will also enjoy significant freedom under responsibility in your work, and HSB always tries – as far as possible – to help you create balance in your life between work and leisure. By contributing to the organization's success, your efforts will be valued. Opportunities await at HSB. The position is full-time with a six-month probationary period. The application deadline is December 5, 2025, and interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, so do not delay your application.
