Construction Worker

About the Position On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an experienced structural steelworker for an assignment in Stockholm. This position is suitable for someone with solid experience in steel constructions, assembly, and welding, who enjoys working in the field. About the Role: - As a structural steelworker, you will be involved in the manufacturing, assembly, and repair of steel constructions. This may include: - Assembly of beams, steel frames, and adjustments - Manufacturing and assembly of stairs, railings, and canopies - Supplementary steelwork and service tasks on existing constructions The work takes place both in the workshop and on-site with clients, and includes welding, reading blueprints, assembly, as well as basic measurements and adjustments on-site. Working hours: Monday–Thursday 06:30–15:45, Friday 06:30–14:15 Your Profile We are looking for someone who: - Has several years of experience in structural steelwork or steel constructions - Can weld (preferably MIG/MAG or stick) and read blueprints independently - Is experienced in assembly and measurements in the field - Is meticulous, solution-oriented, and has good teamwork skills - Holds a valid driver's license (B) - Is proficient in Swedish or English, both spoken and written Meritorious: - Valid welding certificates - Hot work/fire hazardous work certification - Lift and/or forklift certification - Experience in project management or responsibility for assembly teams As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and possess good collaboration skills, as the work takes place at our clients' locations.
