Construction Manager - Roads – Norrbotten & Västerbotten
We are seeking an experienced and self-driven construction manager with a solid background in road engineering and cast-in-situ concrete bridges. You will work on investment projects in both Norrbotten and Västerbotten and become an important part of the implementation of strategic road projects. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, project understanding, and excellent collaboration skills.

Contract Duration: 12 months with the possibility of three extensions of 12 months each (totaling up to 48 months).
Travel: 1–4 times per week within the region

**Responsibilities**
As a construction manager, you will be placed as a consultant with our client where you will:
- Participate in the management and follow-up of road projects alongside project managers.
- Handle coordination with stakeholders, authorities, and contractors.
- Ensure a good working environment and proper documentation.
- Lead and monitor contractors' production, quality, finances, and timelines.
- Review and follow up on quality, environmental, and work environment plans (KMA plans).
- Act as a substitute for the project manager when needed in internal and external meetings.
- Conduct site visits, construction meetings, and technical reviews.
- Perform documentation and simpler measurements using drones.
- Contribute to feedback and knowledge transfer internally.
You will primarily work from the office in Luleå, where an on-site presence of about two days per week is expected. The employer provides a computer and workspace. You will use your own vehicle and preferably your own drone for work (otherwise, we can arrange a drone).
**Mandatory Requirements (must be met)**
To proceed in the process, you must meet all the following requirements:
- Excellent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
- At least 3 years of experience (within the last 10 years) in a supervisory role within road engineering, e.g., project manager, construction manager, or site manager.
- Experience working in project teams where collaboration has been central.
- Documented experience in documentation and measurements using drones.
- Experience with cast-in-situ concrete bridges: at least 5 bridges where you have held a leading role. (Experience must not be older than 8 years.)
- Knowledge of relevant laws, standards, and regulations within both road engineering and concrete work.
- Valid driver's license (B).
- Ability to be on-site in Luleå weekly and travel regularly in Norrbotten/Västerbotten.
