We are seeking a Signal Construction Manager for the Lundbyleden project for the Swedish Transport Administration in Gothenburg.
This is a multi-year consulting assignment.
The scope of the position may vary over time but is estimated to be between 40-60%.
The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires significant flexibility and cooperation skills.
Assignment
As a Signal Construction Manager, you will be responsible for construction management and coordination of signal and telecommunications technology within the project. The role involves leading technical issues in collaboration with contractors and project managers, ensuring that work is planned, quality-assured, and executed according to contracts, plans, and regulations, and following up production with regard to time, cost, quality, and safety. The role also includes knowledge transfer to internal resources and participation in project planning, risk management, and coordination with other sub-projects.

Requirements (MANDATORY)
- At least three (3) years of documented experience in the role of construction manager/site manager/production manager/supervisor in a client or producing organization within the Signal technology area. Experience must have been acquired within the last 10 years.
- Experience with track switch connection
- Experience with moving or constructing road protection facilities
- Experience with railway contracts with budgets over 30 MSEK
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
- Higher education in a relevant field or high school education combined with relevant experience that the Swedish Transport Administration deems equivalent
- Documented basic Signal BSG2 training
- Documented basic Signal BS950UF training
- Valid Swedish driver's license for passenger vehicles
- Qualified Safety and Security Leader (SoS leader) according to Swedish Transport Administration regulations
- Documented knowledge of contract law within AMA/MER and AB04
Meritorious
Documented experience working with maintenance or new/renovation of railway facilities in operation within telecommunications technology. Good collaboration skills. Works well with other people. Relates to others in a responsive and smooth manner. Listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts constructively. Takes initiative, i.e., starts activities and achieves results.
