**Job Responsibilities**
As a Construction Engineer (TKA Coordinator), you will be responsible for and coordinate technical requirements and guidelines, becoming an important part of our property department. The property department in Mölndal Municipality is responsible for managing, constructing, leasing, and developing facilities for the municipality's current and future needs. We have many ongoing and upcoming projects that require high competence and good collaboration. Our processes and working methods are constantly evolving as we work together for the best possible Mölndal for our residents and visitors. The property department serves the entire city and is organizationally part of the Community Building Administration. The department consists of three unit managers and 30 employees.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Develop and follow up on technical requirements and guidelines within the field of construction technology.
* Support project managers and other project stakeholders as an expert in construction technology throughout all stages of the construction process.
* Assist maintenance planners, property managers, and operations as an expert in construction technology.
* Coordinate technical requirements and guidelines across all technical areas, not just construction technology.
* Be responsible for and carry out the revision of technical requirements and guidelines within the field of construction technology.
* Be responsible for and coordinate the revision of technical requirements and guidelines across all technical areas with the help of other functions within the city and consultants.
* Be responsible for and coordinate the review of tender documents and construction drawings across all technical areas in our construction projects with the help of other functions within the city and consultants.
* Be responsible for, conduct, and coordinate the evaluation of all completed construction projects across all technical areas with the help of other functions within the city and consultants.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with an education as a construction engineer or other post-secondary education or professional experience that we consider equivalent. We also require at least 5 years of documented professional experience as an expert in construction technology or as an inspector in construction contract inspections. You should have very good knowledge of building technology and a good understanding of property automation, control and regulation, as well as other technical installations.
For the position of TKA Coordinator, we seek someone who wants to work in a municipality where a lot is happening. You will have many internal and external contacts, and therefore we believe you are communicative, self-driven, and independent. You are very familiar with working according to processes and governing documents. To be successful in this role, you are structured and enjoy working with great precision in your tasks. We also see that you are curious and driven to come up with new ideas and solutions. You feel comfortable making decisions and leading a group in the work.
