The In-vehicle and Body Worn department develops the software for body-worn cameras and vehicle surveillance solutions used by emergency services personnel and other professionals who need reliable technical solutions in their work. Together, they create comprehensive solutions that include camera software, control units, mobile apps, and cloud services. The work is characterized by collaboration between different teams and specialists, where the group collectively identifies and develops features that their customers need. About the Role As a Full Stack Developer at Axis Communications, you will be an important part of a dedicated and skilled team of five with both frontend and backend expertise. You will work broadly on the development of Axis Body Worn Solutions and In-vehicle Solutions, contributing to improving and further developing solutions for integration with various partner systems. The role includes both new development and maintenance of existing code in close collaboration with colleagues in a technology-driven, unpretentious, and supportive environment. Examples of Responsibilities: • Backend development in Go/Golang as well as object-oriented languages such as C++, C#, or Java • Development and maintenance of frontend components in Typescript, React, and Javascript • Features related to livestreaming, integrations, and customizations The development environment is modern and agile, focusing on collaboration, short release cycles, and continuous improvement. About You You have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy programming. You hold a degree in computer engineering, information technology, technical mathematics, or a related field. Alternatively, you have a background in systems science combined with a strong technical understanding. As a person, you thrive in collaboration with others, enjoy sharing ideas, and solving problems together with the team. You are curious, engaged, and eager to continuously develop in your field.
