**Welcome to an Organization that Puts People First**
Veidekke is not an ordinary construction company. While we build everything from bridges and housing to roads and tunnels, it is our view of people that makes us different.
Veidekke is an idea of how people together can create good results. We believe in inclusive forces and collective intelligence – that different competencies and perspectives lead to better outcomes. We are convinced that this approach also contributes to making work enjoyable!
At Veidekke, we have a long tradition of combating fraud and crime in the construction industry. We choose what is right over what is easy. This means, for example, that we strive to use subcontractors in no more than two tiers, that we carefully review our partners, and that we help them comply with Swedish regulations and do the right thing.
It should be safe to work both with and for us. Therefore, health, work environment, and safety (HMS) are integral to our daily operations. For us, HMS is as important as our financial goals.
We summarize our way of being with "We build with heart."
In Region North, we have civil engineering operations and work on several exciting projects in our geography.
