Coop Skövde Vipans gränd is a well-established and highly appreciated store with a good selection, a clear ecological profile, fine manual counters, and an in-store kitchen with both a bakery and pastry shop. In our constant pursuit of making the store even more appealing to our customers, we are now focusing even more on fresh produce and especially our manual meat counters. We are therefore looking for someone who can drive this department to new heights with passion and determination.

In your role as meat department manager, you will have varied tasks such as providing customer service in the store and being responsible for purchasing, sales, and self-inspection in the department. You will possess specialized expertise in the area and ensure that department development and operations occur efficiently and professionally. As meat manager, you will be a crucial part of developing our meat department, responsible for both packaged and manually handled meat.
We want someone who communicates easily, is clear in their leadership, and has a coaching and supportive approach towards colleagues. Furthermore, you should be skilled at inspiring and engaging your co-workers.
Previous experience working in a grocery store is required, and experience with meat is highly meriting, but personal suitability is considered equally important.
This is a permanent full-time position of 38.25 hours/week, with immediate start or as agreed. Recruitment is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period. Work hours vary and include both day and evening shifts, as well as weekends.
