About this role

Do you love food and are ready for a career where people are at the center? At City Gross, everything we do is about helping and inspiring our customers to a more delicious everyday life. Our heart beats a little extra for fresh produce, and we believe in people. We believe we become better when we have different backgrounds and experiences. Whether you're showcasing freshly harvested vegetables, cutting the perfect piece of meat, ensuring shelves are always well-stocked, or creating campaigns that meet our customers' needs, everyone is here for one reason: to create an amazing customer experience. About the Job Position: Temporary position, 30 hours per week until 2026-04-30 Start Date: 2025-11-10 or by agreement. Work Hours: Early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts are a natural part of the work. You'll Put the Final Touch on Customer Experience You have the chance to make a big impact on our customers' visits, so you have an important mission to make the customer experience smooth and pleasant. This might mean a friendly smile, an unexpected question, or a helpful attitude, so the customer finds their way around the store. You should ensure the customer leaves satisfied - preferably with an extra item in their bag and a good feeling! What Will You Do? Every day brings new encounters and challenges, but some of your main tasks are: • Ensure customers leave the store with a smile (and maybe an extra item or new inspiration). • Work on product restocking and create a pleasant store environment with order and cleanliness. • Work at the checkout and self-scanning, including service tasks. • Collaborate with colleagues throughout the store – we're a team and help where needed! Who Are You? You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys a fast-paced environment. A friendly hello and an extra helping hand are a given for you. Do you have a big interest in food and selling products? Great! If you've worked in retail before – even better! We believe you: • Have a high school education and are fluent in Swedish. Since our customers speak more languages, it would be fantastic if you do too. • Love meeting customers and believe service should be genuine and engaged. • Enjoy doing things together and contribute energy and joy. • Are curious, solution-oriented, and see when something needs to be done and aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves to get it done! What Do You Get? • Secure conditions – We have collective agreements with Handels and Unionen. • Valuable grocery bag – You get staff discounts on everything from luxurious weekend dinners to quick weekday lifesavers. • Parental leave with extra security - we offer enhanced parental pay according to collective agreement so you can enjoy your new family member a little extra. • Healthier body and mind – We care about your health and offer wellness benefits so you can stay active in the way that suits you best. • Real career opportunities – With us, there's a chance to grow! Many of our store managers started exactly where you are now. Does this sound like something for you? Submit your application – we look forward to meeting you!
