jem & fix is growing rapidly and continuously opening new stores across our elongated country. Therefore, we now need an additional store controller for our team to oversee the operational routines of our stores and e-commerce in the Svealand area. Are you our new store controller? As a store controller at jem & fix, you will primarily be responsible for monitoring the operational routines of the store and e-commerce, ensuring compliance with store space, and conducting detailed checks of deliveries and pallets. The role includes administrative tasks such as written reporting and various ad hoc assignments. You will also work to support operational departments in various projects, making your role an exciting mix of daily tasks and project work. You will play an important role in increasing the understanding of the operational processes within the company. 🧰 Your main responsibilities • Store visits in Sweden (primarily the store portfolio in Svealand), but travel further north and south may occur. • Monitoring stock levels, operational routines, space compliance, and deliveries. • Written reporting. • Assisting with administration during store closures/moves, such as registering requisitions, distributing goods/pallets to stores, and coordinating with district and store managers. • Contributing to improvement measures and solutions. • Creating, preparing, and presenting materials for the management team. • Planning work. • Ad hoc checks in stores including the web shop. • Ad hoc assistance in stores and e-commerce. 👤 Your background and personality • It is advantageous to have good product knowledge and practical experience in retail. • Your work style is meticulous and methodical, and you value adherence to rules and procedures in an otherwise varied daily routine. • You communicate well, both verbally and in writing. • You thrive in a fast-paced environment with new challenges every day and are accustomed to tight deadlines. • You possess strong analytical skills and have an interest/competence in analyzing large data sets. • You are a proficient user of Excel and have good IT skills. • As a person, you are outgoing and responsible, and you can sense situations—even in potentially unforeseen events. Employment conditions The work is primarily scheduled Monday to Friday. Weekend work may occur. The area of responsibility is primarily the stores in Svealand, so a central location in the region is preferred. Travel days within Sweden occur, and the position requires some overnight stays during the workweek. Number of positions: 1 Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Employment form: Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period. Location: Employed at jem & fix headquarters in Svalöv, but working from home.
