Your Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for building and developing a winning team. You will have ownership of the entire store and its profitability by working both operationally and strategically. Together with your team, you will drive and develop the store within the framework of Clas Ohlson's successful retail concept.
With a coaching leadership style, you will inspire your colleagues to challenge themselves and create positive customer experiences. You will nurture and encourage an open work environment where team members share knowledge, innovation, and ideas for continuous improvement. As a store manager at Clas Ohlson, your leadership will create a winning team where employees develop and take responsibility.
We Expect You to:
• Ensure and develop the conditions for Clas Ohlson's customer service concept
• Drive sales by coaching and training employees to create excellent customer experiences and sales results
• Evaluate, coach, and develop employee performance by setting goals and providing feedback
• Plan and manage store operations in both short and long term
• Implement, analyze, and follow up on store key performance indicators and annual action plan
• Manage staffing and scheduling in both short and long term
Who Are We Looking For?
We seek a store manager with a strong drive to work operationally with the team, where coaching and decisive leadership on the store floor is key to success.
We believe the ideal candidate has natural operational leadership skills and is motivated by inspiring employees to reach their full potential. You have a strong results focus and through your commitment and excellent planning abilities, you successfully organize daily store operations. You thrive in a fast-moving industry where development, change, and sustainability are natural parts of our daily life. We place great importance on personal suitability and ability to work operationally with the store team.
Qualifications:
• Completed high school education; business or retail management education is merit
• At least two years of experience in a leadership position, preferably in retail
• Good MS Office skills and experience with store-specific IT systems
• Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
The position is a full-time, permanent employment with start date by agreement. Clas Ohlson always applies a 6-month probationary period.
