About the Role
As Store Manager at Gottebiten Morast in Charlottenberg, you will have overall responsibility for running the store and leading, motivating, and inspiring the store's 15 employees. In the role of Store Manager, you will be part of the daily operations and lead the team by being present and engaged on the sales floor. A central aspect of the Store Manager role is to be the face of the brand and to ensure that every customer interaction is world-class. This position is a permanent full-time employment starting from December 1 or by agreement. A probationary period applies.
Main Responsibilities
• Be an active leader who inspires and engages the team. Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and development of employees through coaching and regular conversations.
• Drive and develop the store's sales by motivating staff, ensuring high customer service, and creating world-class customer experiences.
• Manage staffing structure, plan and organize daily operations for a well-functioning store, and handle invoices, delivery notes, and discrepancies.
• Ensure that budgets and sales targets are met through continuous analysis and follow-up of sales, personnel, budget, and inventory status.
• Ensure routines, concepts, and applicable legal requirements are followed, and actively work on continuous improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications/Background
To succeed in this role, we see that you are a natural leader with a strong passion for sales and service. Your ability to motivate and inspire your team is as important as your several years of experience in store operations and personnel management. You are solution-oriented and comfortable handling everything from scheduling and recruitment to operational store work and other administration.
We value a coaching leadership style that strengthens the team's independence and initiative. You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and since we are a cross-border trading company, some understanding of Norwegian is also an advantage. As part of the recruitment process for this position, an alcohol and drug test as well as a request for a criminal record extract will be included. This is done to ensure a safe and secure working environment, in line with our internal procedures.
