We are looking for a Controller to join TRATON's Corporate Planning & Reporting Team, focusing on R&D Holding Controlling (TRATON AB). This is a full-time, permanent position based in Södertälje, Sweden, reporting directly to the Head of TRATON AB Result Controlling. You will be part of a dedicated team of four professionals, working closely with colleagues across TRATON Group - including Scania, MAN, International and Volkswagen Truck & Bus (VWTB). Job Responsibilities In this role, you will act as a key business partner within TRATON, driving financial transparency and supporting strategic decision-making across our global R&D operations. You will work cross-functionally with finance, controlling and operational teams across the group to ensure high-quality planning, reporting and financial steering for the consolidated TRATON AB. Your main areas of responsibility will include: • Leading and coordinating strategic and operational planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for TRATON AB. • Driving the implementation and continuous improvement of TRATON Group's planning and reporting processes. • Managing the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for the consolidated entity. • Providing in-depth analysis and clear commentary on actual results, trends and deviations from plan. • Acting as a trusted financial advisor to multiple stakeholders and ensuring alignment across Accounting, R&D Controlling, HR and other corporate functions. • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the finance community at TRATON. • This is a role where your insights and analytical skills will make a real impact - both on financial performance and on the success of TRATON's global R&D operations. Who You Are You are a results-driven and analytical professional who thrives in an international, fast-paced environment. You combine a solid financial background with a collaborative mindset and a genuine curiosity for how numbers drive business decisions. To succeed in this role, you have: • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. • At least five years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or controlling - preferably within the automotive or industrial sector. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a good understanding of accounting principles. • A high level of accuracy, structure, and ownership in your work. • Proven experience using Power BI and familiarity with SAP (advantageous). • The ability to turn complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - you can engage effectively across all levels of the organization. • A proactive mindset with a drive for improvement, transformation and change management. • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
