Responsibilities and Areas of Responsibility
As a Business Controller, you will be a close partner to managers and operations within a complex and socially important group. In this role, you are expected to contribute broadly across the organization through frequent dialogues with management teams and other internal contacts within the group and the controller team. You will also be involved in the ongoing efforts to develop methods for governance and follow-up, as well as participate in the ongoing business systems transition. Your tasks will include financial and operational management, driving the organization’s budgeting and forecasting processes. You will independently conduct and present financial analyses, profitability calculations, and participate in year-end closing activities. Controlling and finance are part of the business support division, consisting of 15 employees, and you will report to the head of controlling and finance. The Business Support Division comprises approximately 100 employees with a wide range of expertise in areas such as purchasing, finance, and HR. Together, Business Support provides essential support and acts as a close partner to large parts of the organization.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who combines analytical sharpness with a genuine interest in how finance and operations are interconnected. You are confident in independently driving budgeting, forecasting, and analysis work and have the ability to translate complex financial relationships into clear and useful decision-making support for managers and operations. As a person, you are curious, proactive, and accustomed to taking initiative. You thrive in an environment where development and change are a natural part of everyday life, and you are eager to contribute ideas on how methods and processes can be improved. The role involves many points of contact, and we seek someone who builds trust through open, pedagogical, and professional communication. To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
- An academic degree in finance.
- At least five years of experience in controlling or a similar role with responsibilities for governance, analysis, and follow-up.
- Experience working independently with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- A good understanding of systems and experience with business systems and reporting tools.
- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
