We are now looking for a Business Controller in Solna. As a Business Controller at Nobina, you will play a central role in ensuring secure and forward-looking financial management within one or more of our traffic areas. You will be responsible for the area's finances and ensure that operations comply with our central guidelines. Your role also includes coordinating and driving the processes for financial closing, budgeting, and forecasting – becoming the one who creates clarity, structure, and security in decision-making materials. About the role and your responsibilities: You will have overall responsibility for financial control and analyze the effects of local and central decisions and initiatives to support the business in making well-informed decisions. By driving a strong financial and results-oriented understanding within the organization, you contribute to effective management and sustainable development of our traffic areas. In this operational role, you will have the opportunity, along with engaged colleagues, to influence, challenge, and create results. As a Business Controller at Nobina, you will, among other things: • Drive financial closing, budgeting, and forecasting for traffic areas • Create and present financial analyses, reports, and forecasts within the given timeframe • Monitor costs and key performance indicators and propose measures for improvement • Conduct variance analyses between budget and actual results and/or bids and actual results • Drive business calculations for investments, business deals, and initiatives • Identify and drive result-improving measures • Participate in the management group work of the traffic areas • Be involved in bidding processes Personal qualities and qualifications: To be successful in your role as a Business Controller, you need to be communicative, analytical, and capable of simplifying complex analyses and presenting them. Important qualities for succeeding and thriving in the role are that you are driven, proactive, and structured. You have a good ability to collaborate and communicate with various roles within and outside Nobina. Since the responsibilities span a range of different operations within the organization, it requires you to be solution-oriented, unpretentious, and a team player. The complexity of the operations also demands that you have a strong ability to prioritize what creates the most value. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has: • Relevant university degree with a focus on finance • At least 2-3 years of previous work experience in controlling or similar roles • Experience in accounting and financial management • Very good knowledge of Excel and reporting tools; experience with Agresso or another large business system is an advantage • Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement About the position: The position is full-time, based at the headquarters in Solna, Stockholm, but involves regular workdays in the traffic area in the suburbs of Stockholm as agreed. We are located in new, fresh premises with access to a gym and pool. There is an opportunity for remote work when the job allows. We apply a probationary period and individual salary setting. As a Business Controller, you will report to the Finance Manager with close collaboration with Business Managers and Business Controllers in Stockholm. Why Nobina?
