Business Controller - Expert

Location: Sundbyberg Distance: 25% Period: January 6, 2026 – February 28, 2027 About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Business Controller at an expert level for a large national player in critical infrastructure. You will provide targeted support in a business area that drives extensive capital investments and development initiatives. The assignment combines operational support in daily work with strategic development of processes, tools, and governance. Role and Responsibilities You will work closely with the existing Business Controller and independently manage your own deliverables. The work spans both line functions and operational projects with a focus on portfolio management and reporting. Your main responsibilities include: • Producing high-quality analyses and decision-making materials. • Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and follow-up work within both line and project functions. • Developing and streamlining processes, working methods, and reporting structures. • Ensuring that reporting and material packaging is clear, accurate, and tailored to the target audience. • Contributing to the development of KPIs, governance documents, and decision management methods. Expected Outcomes By the end of the assignment, the consultant is expected to have: • Increased capacity and quality in governance and reporting. • Supported the business development project with improved processes and KPI structures. • Contributed to sustainable and documented working methods for portfolio and investment management. Examples of Tasks • Collection, analysis, and presentation of decision-making materials. • Monitoring of key figures, reporting to management and steering groups. • Development of routines, processes, and reporting models. • Preparation and packaging of materials for various recipients within the organization.
