About this role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for an exciting assignment in retail, where you will play a key role in the development of a new inventory valuation solution. You will work closely with business operations, finance, data engineers, and development teams, and will be responsible for gathering, structuring, and quality-assuring requirements, as well as ensuring that the solution is built robustly, scalably, and in line with processes for inventory, order flows, and financial calculations.
You will analyze and document business requirements, work on data modeling at both the conceptual and logical levels, and follow up on the development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT flows, and integrations. You will lead workshops, coordinate dependencies between teams and suppliers, and verify that delivered solutions meet needs and data definitions. You will also support project management with coordination and follow-up of activities.
The environment includes Databricks, integrations with order and inventory-related systems, as well as modern data pipelines alongside experienced development and data engineering teams.
Qualifications:
• At least five years of experience as a requirements analyst or Business Analyst within IT
• Strong understanding of data modeling at both the conceptual and logical levels
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and modern data architectures
• Familiarity with working closely with data engineers, analysts, or BI/Data & Analytics teams
• Insight into processes related to inventory, orders, or supply chain management is a plus
• Very good understanding of financial processes and how data is used in valuation, reporting, or controlling
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in business operations, finance, IT, and external suppliers
• Structured, analytical, and confident in leading workshops and managing complex requirements
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
