**Business Analyst – Data-Driven Inventory Valuation in Retail** **Role Description** We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a large retail program where you will play a central role in the development of a new inventory valuation solution within a modern data and analytics platform. You will work closely with business operations, finance, data engineers, and development teams, and be responsible for gathering, structuring, and ensuring the quality of requirements so that the solution is robust, scalable, and aligned with processes for inventory, order flows, and financial calculations. **Responsibilities** - Responsible for the collection, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for the inventory valuation solution - Work on data modeling at both conceptual and logical levels for analytical solutions - Monitor the development of data pipelines, ETL/ELT flows, and integrations with order and inventory-related systems - Coordinate requirements, dependencies, and deliveries between different teams and external suppliers - Lead workshops with business operations, finance, and IT to create clear data definitions, processes, and decisions - Verify that developed data models and solutions meet the needs of the business and finance functions - Support project management with planning, coordination, follow-up, and reporting of activities - Contribute to establishing and further developing working methods within the modern data and analytics platform in close collaboration with data engineers and development teams **Requirements** - At least 5 years of experience as a requirements analyst or Business Analyst in IT - Good understanding of data modeling, particularly for analytical solutions at conceptual and logical levels - Experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and modern data architectures - Experience working closely with data engineers, analysts, or BI/Data & Analytics teams and being able to define requirements for these roles - Strong understanding of financial processes and how data is used in valuation, reporting, or controlling - Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders in business operations, finance, IT, and external suppliers - Ability to work in a structured and analytical manner, lead workshops, and manage complex requirement landscapes - Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written **Desirable** - Experience in retail, inventory, order, or supply chain processes - Experience working in modern cloud-based data and analytics platforms - Experience in large data or transformation programs with multiple parallel initiatives - Experience in requirements work related to financial calculations, inventory valuation, or related processes - Experience working in a hybrid environment with distributed teams **Start:** Immediate **Duration:** Until 2026-05-31 **Location:** Stockholm (hybrid) **About Rasulson Consulting** Rasulson Consulting is a specialized staffing and recruitment company within the IT sector.
