The roles involve conducting supportive conversations with children remotely via text-based support and phone, according to a schedule during late evenings and nights. The positions are based in our office in Stockholm.

As a counselor on the National Support Line, you will offer children and youth various forms of qualified adult-led support tailored to each child's unique needs and circumstances. Our team of counselors works around the clock to provide professional remote support to children, youth, and adults who contact us. Our work is grounded in our view of children as rights holders, unique individuals, and active subjects. In our counseling group, we support each other and work together to develop our skills. External (for the fixed-term position) and collegial supervision is included.

• Is fluent in spoken and written Swedish.
• We conduct our support work with a high degree of professionalism and take great responsibility for our role and the support we provide, which likely suits you as well!
• You have knowledge of children's rights work, relevant legislation, and the support functions available in society.
• As a counselor with us, you have good self-awareness and collaborate well with your colleagues. You are also accustomed to taking full responsibility for your work and seeking support when needed.
• Using digital communication channels is straightforward for you.
• Since working hours are scheduled between 21:00-07:30 or 13:30-00:00, and every fourth weekend, you need to have considered your availability for working during inconvenient hours.
• You naturally share Bris's core principles.
• Experience with a membership organization and work in a non-profit organization is a merit.
