Caverion is now seeking a Fire and Safety Technician for their Technical Facility Management (TFM) contract with Stockholm Exergi. This role involves technical management, operation, and maintenance of Stockholm Exergi's properties.
Stockholm Exergi is the city's energy company that ensures the growing Stockholm region's access to heat, electricity, cooling, and waste services through resource-efficient solutions.
In this assignment, Caverion takes full responsibility for technical property management, which includes supervision, maintenance, corrective maintenance, and advisory services for technical property systems across approximately 50 facilities, including five base plants: Värtan, Brista, Högdalen, Hammarbyverket, and Hässelby.
Work is conducted across three geographical areas, and you will primarily be active in one of these:
* City (Värtan/Campus)
* Northwest (Sigtuna/Brista)
* South (Högdalen)
As a Fire and Safety Technician, you will become an important part of a team ensuring properties are operated safely, efficiently, and sustainably.
Caverion in a New Collaboration with Stockholm Exergi
The Role
As a Fire and Safety Technician, you are responsible for operation, service, and maintenance of fire protection systems such as fire alarms, sprinklers, and gas extinguishing systems. You will work on troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, inspections, and risk analyses. The role involves both independent responsibility and collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, subcontractors, and authorities.
Work Tasks:
* Serve as facility manager for fire alarms, sprinklers, and gas extinguishing systems
* Perform service, supervision, inspections, and corrective maintenance
* Troubleshoot fire protection systems and identify action needs
* Participate in risk analyses and contribute to secure and safe operation
* Propose improvements and ensure facilities comply with laws and regulations
Your Background
* Experience working with fire protection systems in complex properties (e.g., hospitals, shopping centers, industrial facilities)
* Preferably have training/certification as a facility manager (SBF 110, 120, 500) - alternatively willing to complement through internal training
* Knowledge of fire protection laws and regulations (e.g., the Act on Protection against Accidents)
* Independent, responsible, and service-oriented with experience in improvement work
