Bergslagens Rescue Service is a municipal association for fire services in the municipalities of Karlskoga, Kristinehamn, Filipstad, Degerfors, Hällefors, and Storfors, with approximately 200 employees across a total of 8 fire stations. We are in need of seasonal substitutes, particularly during the summer months of 2026, for the full-time stations in Karlskoga and Kristinehamn. Therefore, we are seeking firefighters.
**Job Responsibilities**
- Participate in emergency response services, preventive work, external training, station duties, training exercises, etc.
**Educational Requirements**
- SMO degree (or completed at least two semesters) or 15 weeks of firefighter training (at MSB's school) or completed Grib training for RIB employment or equivalent. Certificates must be attached to the application.
**Desirable Qualifications**
- Previous employment as a firefighter
- Medical training/experience
- C driver's license
**Employment**
- Full-time, temporary, during the holiday period (June, July, and August)
- Employment begins with an introductory training upon hiring.
**Working Hours**
- Primarily shift work, but daytime shifts may occur.
**Salary**
- According to agreement.
