The Eastern Blekinge Rescue Service is a fire service association operating within the municipalities of Karlskrona and Ronneby. The fire services have a well-developed cooperation in Blekinge, even though we exist in two different organizations. **Job Responsibilities** As a fire protection engineer, you will primarily focus on preventive measures. In Blekinge, there is a wide variety of businesses and facilities, many linked to the coastal location. There are also several larger industries with various types of risk activities. A significant presence of military operations and cultural buildings also characterizes the region. We strive for close and effective collaboration with the municipalities' residents through advice, supervision, permit management, accident investigation, training, and other related tasks. We continuously exchange experiences with fire services primarily in Blekinge and Kronoberg. We expect you to shortly join our preparedness function as a regional incident commander after your introduction. **Qualifications** We are looking for candidates who have an approved fire protection engineering degree and MSB's advanced training in fire services for fire protection engineers (RUB). A valid driver's license (Category B) is a requirement. Previous experience as a fire protection engineer and regional incident commander is an advantage. As a person, you are self-assured and have no difficulties engaging with others. Other valued qualities include being structured, committed, responsible, initiative-taking, and having analytical skills. You can work independently as well as in a team and possess good communication skills.
