Responsibilities:
As a Fire Protection Technician, your primary goal is to create safety for Brandgruppen Nord's customers. You will work with the installation and servicing of equipment, inspect fire protection systems, and conduct functional testing of technical fire protection systems, such as fire alarms, ventilation fire protection, and first aid equipment. You will also assist customers with your knowledge and provide advice on fire safety when questions arise.
The work is varied, and you will encounter a wide range of environments and assignments - from preschools, housing cooperatives, and restaurants to larger industries, medical centers, and shopping centers. The role combines hands-on work with customer contact, where you schedule and plan your assignments with a focus on the customer. Once on site, you will evaluate the situation, inform, and help the customer address any deficiencies in fire protection.
You will work from home and travel throughout Norrbotten, which may involve trips and overnight stays. Freedom with responsibility is a key aspect of the position—you will plan your workday independently but always have an experienced and unpretentious team to support you.
