**About the Job**
We are currently seeking a property caretaker who wants to create pleasant and secure living environments for our tenants together with us and contribute to the continued positive development of the area.
As a property caretaker, you are the face of Bostadsbolaget and have frequent contact with our tenants. You are responsible for your area and independently plan your work based on the needs of the tenants and the community.
**Examples of Responsibilities:**
- Meet the ongoing and daily needs of tenants in their homes with a focus on high service.
- Address service requests by performing certain repairs, coordinating actions for damages, and ordering and inspecting services from contractors.
- Actively collaborate with internal and external parties to develop properties in terms of operations and maintenance.
- Manage costs, handle invoices, and participate in budget and forecasting work.
- Contribute to safety-enhancing efforts through collaboration with internal and external parties, such as participating in meetings with tenant associations and conducting social activities for tenants.
As a property caretaker in Amhult, you belong to the management department and the Hisingen district, where you report to your area manager. You work independently and have overall responsibility for your area, ensuring that the properties are managed in a safe and professional manner. At the same time, you collaborate closely with environmental caretakers and exchange experiences with other property caretakers within the district to jointly develop the work and create a pleasant environment for our tenants.
**Qualifications**
To succeed in the role of property caretaker, you need to have a strong commitment to your work and focus on the customer and the assignment. For you, service is a guiding principle, and you value the social interaction with tenants as well as your unique work environment—our tenants' homes.
We are looking for someone with:
- A property-related education as a manager, property caretaker, or equivalent, or you have worked in a related field such as construction, technology, electrical, plumbing, craftsmanship, or similar and can demonstrate equivalent professional skills.
- A valid driver's license (B category).
- Computer proficiency.
- Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Experience in the profession.
It is advantageous if you have previous experience as a carpenter and if you have experience working with property management systems (e.g., Fast2).
As a person, you take initiative and are responsible for ensuring that work progresses, whether you are working alone or with colleagues. Collaboration is important to you, and by being interested and understanding of others, you contribute to a respectful work climate.
