Your new role
We are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to support the CEO and management team until a permanent recruitment is made. The position is located at a larger municipal-owned company that plays a central role in environmental efforts for several municipalities in western Sweden.
As a Corporate Controller, you will have a key role in the company's governance and management processes. You will work closely with the CEO and management team, contributing to the overall budgeting, operational planning, and follow-up processes.
In this role, you will, among other things:
• Plan, anchor, and lead the company's goal-setting process together with the CEO and management team.
• Ensure that municipal governance models and goal management are implemented in the company's own operational governance.
• Support the CEO in preparations for management team meetings, including work according to the annual cycle and minute-taking.
• Quality assure decision-making and information matters for the board, and produce documentation as needed.
• Monitor matters and decisions from municipal councils and assemblies – and relay relevant points to the management team.
• Support the CEO in meetings of the Technical Economic Delegation (TED) through agenda work, minute-taking, and follow-up on decisions.
• Serve as the contact point for the Swedish Companies Registration Office.
You will be part of the company's staff – an important support and service function for management, employees, and the board. Approximately 17 specialists work here in areas such as finance, HR, communication, procurement, and administration. As a Corporate Controller, you will collaborate closely with the company's administrator in preparation for board meetings and other strategic forums.

Our client is a municipal company responsible for purifying wastewater and treated industrial water from several owner municipalities in the region. Through advanced processes, the company contributes to reducing eutrophication in our seas and creates valuable resources such as biogas and treated sludge.

Assignment scope: Full-time, 100%
Employment type: Temporary employment as a consultant via JobBusters.
Work model: As agreed, up to one day per week.
Start: Beginning of December.
End: April 30, 2026.
Option for extension in two-month increments, up to a maximum of 12 months.

To be successful in this role, you need:
• Relevant higher education, such as a degree in business administration, public management, social sciences, or a similar academic background.
• Several years of experience as a controller in the public sector.
• Good understanding of municipal processes and corporate governance.
• Experience in operational development.
• Desirable: Experience working with management teams.
• Desirable: Experience with municipal or regionally owned companies.
