About this role

We are now looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Karlavägen Group Home. We offer a thorough introduction and a rewarding job where you can make a difference! This is a full-time position (100%), temporary from February 16, 2026, to February 15, 2027. About Karlavägen Group Home Karlavägen Group Home is located in central Vaggeryd and accommodates five residents, each living in their own apartment. Vaggeryd is easily accessible by car or public transport. The work team consists of five staff members and a group manager. We have a stable team with a positive atmosphere that delivers support and care of the highest quality. The residents at Karlavägen Group Home belong to the target group defined in section 2 of the LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). About the Role As a housing supporter, you will focus on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. A key part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours will be scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and awake night shifts. You will have a group manager nearby who also works in the operation. Your Experience and Knowledge We are looking for candidates who have a high school education in care and support or an equivalent qualification. You should have good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important aspect; if you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities for growth.
