Housing Support Worker - Varnhem LSS

We are now seeking a residential support worker for our team at Varnhem LSS. We offer training and a development-oriented job where you can make a difference! This is a full-time position. About VarnhemVarnhem's group home is located in the picturesque Varnhem, with proximity to services and good communications to Skara and Skövde. A small, experienced work group with good collaboration and positive atmosphere works here. The facilities are cozy and adapted for the target group. We work with adults diagnosed within the autism spectrum, and the work is characterized by clarifying pedagogy, low-affective approach, and focus on creating security and independence in daily life. About the RoleAs a residential support worker, you will start from the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life through a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work to create a meaningful and enriching everyday life. You will support and guide residents in personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, social contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are distributed across days, evenings, and weekends.
