We are now seeking a residential support worker for a permanent position of approximately 80% in our team at Ljungvägen in Mora. We offer training and a rewarding job where you can make a difference!
About Ljungvägen LSS Residence
Ljungvägen is an autism residence that started in 2017. The building is beautifully situated near the Hemus outdoor area, just outside the city center. We have close proximity to a swimming pool, an ice hockey arena, exercise and ski trails, as well as lovely green spaces.
The building is bright, and all apartments are located on the ground floor. The residence has six apartments with common areas for social interaction and a nice outdoor space with large planting boxes, where we can gather in the shared patio at the back.
About the Role
As a residential support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with your colleagues, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours will be scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You who are applying have a high school education in care and support or another equivalent qualification. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, a B driver's license for automatic vehicles, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important aspect. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always prioritize the best interests of our clients in everything you say and do.
At Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Our culture is characterized by our values – respect, responsibility, simplicity, and knowledge.
