Description
Loftvägen Group Home is a residence with special services for individuals with significant difficulties in managing their daily lives due to mental disabilities. The support includes both supportive and compensatory measures in the individual’s home but may also involve social interventions to break isolation and assist with activities of daily living (ADL). The aim of the interventions is for the individual to be able to live as independently as possible with the goal of achieving their own housing.

For us, quality of life for our clients means having influence over their daily lives and their own home; being seen and respected is fundamental to security and well-being.
Working Hours
Working hours are scheduled between 07:00 and 22:00, distributed across day and evening shifts, full-day shifts, on-call shifts, and weekends. A requirement for employment is the ability to work all mentioned shifts.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include supporting individuals in their daily lives according to the intentions of social services, which means preserving, changing, and developing people's own resources.
Your tasks include:
- Providing individually tailored support based on clients' needs.
- Performing both supportive and compensatory interventions.
- Maintaining social documentation in accordance with applicable legislation.
- Carrying out interventions delegated by a nurse and rehabilitation staff.
- Performing and being responsible for common operational tasks.
- Working independently.
It is also important that you contribute to a good working environment for colleagues and a positive home environment for the tenants.
Qualifications
- Healthcare and Nursing program and the course "Health and Care Specialization" within the (social) psychiatry field, as well as one of the following elective courses: social pedagogy, social work 1, or social work 2.
or
- Child and Leisure program with a focus on pedagogical and social work, as well as one of the elective courses: social work 2, special pedagogy 1, special pedagogy 2, psychology 1, or psychology 2b. Additional requirements include passing grades in Swedish 1 (100 credits) and social studies (50 credits) at the upper secondary level, based on the requirements of the Health and Care College.

You must also have experience working in social psychiatry and possess a valid B driver's license (manual).
Desirable Qualities
- Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, comorbidity, and substance abuse.

Applicants who are considered suitable for the position will be asked to complete a language assessment test. A request to complete a language test does not imply a job offer, only that you have progressed as a candidate in the selection process.
