Your Responsibilities
Together, our employees work to motivate and guide individuals towards increased activity, participation, and independence. The clients have varying care needs based on different intellectual disabilities. It is important to create predictability in daily life through structure and clarity, as well as adapted communication, to foster good conditions for a fulfilling life. You will support daily routines such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry. You will also assist with toilet visits, showers, and medication distribution. Expect a workplace filled with laughter, interesting stories, and new friends.
Your Qualifications
You have experience working in care and support and feel confident providing assistance based on each individual's needs and circumstances. Previous experience with the target group is an advantage. Your educational background includes a complete upper secondary education, and further training in motivational interviewing, independent living, low-arousal approaches, or CBT is considered a significant plus.
You should have good knowledge of Swedish and the ability to document your work clearly. Experience with case management and documentation is advantageous. We would prefer you to have a B driver's license, but it is not a requirement.
As a person, you are self-sufficient, stable, and able to quickly adapt and shift focus when needed. You have good communication skills and can adjust your approach and message based on people's varying circumstances. You value collaboration and thrive in a positive and inclusive work environment where we support each other and work together towards common goals.

Our operations consist of four residential facilities with special services according to LSS and SoL, as well as a daily activity program. Residential support is also part of our services. Here, adults aged 18 and older live and work.

Unique to Skultuna Support & Service is our combination of work in residential settings with daily activities and residential support. With us, you will have a combined role, which contributes to security and good continuity in support.

Working hours are scheduled with shifts during the day, evening, and weekends.

Before you can be employed, you need to present an approved extract from the police criminal record.
A probationary period of 6 months may be applied.
In connection with the interview, you need to verify your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or a personal certificate along with an ID document. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must show that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit.
