We are now seeking a Housing Support Worker for our team at Skogsgatan 7 in Ryd. We offer training and a developmental job where you can make a difference! The position is a part-time role at 80%, but the employment rate can be discussed.
About Skogsgatan 7 in Ryd
Skogsgatan 7 is located in a nature-close, pleasant environment in the small town of Ryd. The operation consists of two group housing units with 5 places in each unit. The operation serves adult seniors within the LSS target group.
About the Role
As a Housing Support Worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life through a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making each day meaningful and fulfilling. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks will also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are during day, evening, and weekends.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You should have a high school education in healthcare and social care or equivalent training. You must have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. A B driver's license is required. Experience working with the target group is meritorious. Your CV is not the most important aspect - if you have the right personal qualities, we will support your growth.
You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility. You enjoy working in a team, supporting your colleagues, and always prioritize the best interests of our service users.
