JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking someone who wants to work as a housing support worker at Support Unit 1, A-team, a work group that provides support to adult individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities in standard housing.
A-team 1 is based on Arabygatan in Växjö, and in our work, we encounter individuals with varying needs for pedagogical and social support interventions. Our mission is to strengthen each individual's ability to live an independent life, and we have extensive knowledge of mental functional disabilities. Our work is always based on experience and compassion.
As a housing support worker, you will work mostly independently but also collaborate with colleagues to support individuals with mental or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Support is designed and planned individually with the person. Interventions are both practical and pedagogical in nature and are carried out in the home and local environment. You will be a social contact who creates security through your approach. Work tasks also include household support and participating in leisure activities, such as gym training.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking candidates with a degree from a care and nursing program, child and leisure program, or equivalent education of 200 vocational college credits or 120 university credits. We prefer candidates with experience working with individuals with disabilities, knowledge and experience in low-arousal approaches, and managing challenging situations. You should also have good knowledge of Swedish society and its various functions.
As a person, you are flexible, attentive, treat others with warmth and respect, and enjoy a role where your work contributes to others' well-being. You must be able to work independently, take initiative, and simultaneously collaborate with the staff group towards common goals. We also seek candidates with good Swedish language skills and computer proficiency.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
A B-class driver's license is required, and you must also be able to cycle.
