What does the job of a residential support staff member at Frösunda entail? As a residential support staff member, you will work at one of our residences to support, motivate, and encourage individuals to develop their own ability to perform daily life activities. You will provide each client with personalized support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their everyday lives.
Residential support is granted to individuals with various types of disabilities, which is why the skills, needs, and development of the individuals guide our efforts. The goal is to create conditions for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.
The responsibilities of a residential support staff member include documentation, creating implementation plans, and being a contact person. Examples of tasks include:
• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, and making beds
• Documentation and reporting
• Outings, walks, exercise, and activities
• Personal care including hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, and social presence
• Supporting and motivating clients towards increased independence in their daily lives
Working hours are arranged according to the clients' needs and vary between day, evening, and night shifts, both on weekdays and weekends.
About Brolunda group home: Brolunda is a group home located in a residential area in western Södertälje, close to both green spaces and the city center. The residence has six places and the target group is adults within LSS category 1.

The work as a residential support staff member is subject to confidentiality; therefore, it is a prerequisite and requirement to follow, respect, and understand the implications of current confidentiality regulations and the client's personal integrity in order to work in our organization.
• We are looking for applicants with training as a nursing assistant or other education and/or experience deemed equivalent.
• You need to have prior experience working with LSS and be comfortable performing care work.
• Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• You should have good physical ability as it is a prerequisite for performing the job of a residential support staff member.
• Experience in psychiatry, elderly care, daily activities, or similar fields is highly meritorious.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and hourly positions may be filled before the application deadline. Personal suitability will be given significant weight.
