About Hovmantorp
Hovmantorp is a newly built group residence for individuals with a decision regarding housing with special services according to LSS. The facility has six places and is located in the community of Hovmantorp, approximately 10 kilometers from Lessebo and 30 kilometers from Växjö.
About the Role
As a residential support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you will work towards making each day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. A key part of the job is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your responsibilities also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. The working hours are scheduled for the night, and you will be working awake night shifts. You will have a coordinator nearby who also works in the facility.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You who are applying should have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent qualification. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important aspect. If you possess the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities for growth.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility. You need to be comfortable working independently in the residence at night but also enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues. Employment Type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period
Salary: We apply individual salary setting
