About Trehörna 11
Trehörna 11 is a group home with three places for individuals with autism and/or moderate intellectual disabilities. The group home is located in Urshult, Tingsryd municipality, close to nature, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transport. Approximately 8 support workers and one coordinator work in the facility.
About the Role
As a support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents, providing support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making everyday life meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide residents with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of your work is to stimulate and motivate residents to develop their abilities. Your tasks will also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. The working hours are scheduled for night shifts. You will have a coordinator nearby who spends part of their time working in the facility.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You who are applying have a high school education in healthcare and social services or another equivalent qualification. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. Experience working with the target group is an advantage. However, your CV is not the most important aspect. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility. You are confident and comfortable working independently while also enjoying being part of a team and supporting your colleagues, always keeping our users' best interests at the forefront of everything you do. You respect your working hours and have the patience and ability to remain calm even in stressful and challenging situations.
